N29 Batang Ai - Past Election Results

The hot topic in Sarawak now is about the coming Batang Ai by Election. Past Results of the elections show that it's always a tough fight. Previously the constituency was known as Ulu Ai and used to be the stronghold of SNAP until the birth of "Dayakism".

The voters here has a history of giving equal chance to both sides, semua bisi peluang menang ditu. Kadang kadang parti perintah menang lalu bisi mega calon bebas enggau parti penyakal kala menang ba sitak tu.

To win you need at least 3,000 votes or RM300,000, the more the better. This is on a budget of overall RM100 per head, not to be given to the voters but to cover the general expenses such as fuel, transportation charges, rental of generators, access fees for broadband, posters, the nasi bungkus and other unexplainable charges.
